As the Hellfire line has grown to not only have the Flagship 3-Port Brake, but the 2P, and a wide variety of Suppressor Mounts, the need became clear for a carbine-specific muzzle device. We got requests for linear/blast-forwarding devices, as well as flash-hiders, and couldn’t decide which we liked better – and weren’t convinced it had to be one or the other.
Introducing, the Hellfire Linear Flash Suppressor.
This device is half flash hider and half blast forwarder, giving carbine, SBR and AR Pistol owners a tailor-made device for reducing flash signature as well as concussion mitigation. Made from 17-4 PH Stainless and Black Nitrided, this system is constructed of two parts, and assembled in a manner that we intend to be permanent. The bore aperture of the LFS is suitable for calibers up to .458, loading the device with versatility and function.

I bought this flash suppressor because it has the same threads as the Hellfire muzzle brake and my suppressor mount. It allows me to also use my suppressor on an AR or my .22 rifle.

I was looking for a blast forwarding device with flash suppression. The lfs is the only one i have found. I shot four 16″ ar15’s in 5.56 to see the difference in sound and concussion reduction. The muzzle devices used were ruger’s radial port brake on the mpr, a troy medieval, a witt sme and the lfs. The ruger brake and troy were loud and there was definitely felt concussion, as expected. The witt sme and lfs greatly reduced both. I ordered a second lfs to replace the witt due to smaller size and ease of installation. Sound reduction for the shooter and felt concussion were similar between the two. It was light out, so i couldn’t see a difference in flash suppression.

I have purchased four of these and I replaced the recoil compensators for the Hellfire suppressor mounts. They work extremely well and still allow the easy attachment of my suppressors.
I didn’t need the Hellfire recoil compensators on my AR15, wish they had these available when I purchased the suppressor mounts. I love the recoil compensators on my larger caliber bolt action rifles, but I can still use one of these as the mounts are the same. Best system I have found to mount my suppressors, with the left hand threads you never need to worry about the mount coming loose when removing a hot suppressor. The only tool required is your hand (and a cloth to protect from the heat) to install and remove the flash hider or your suppressor. Works as advertised!

Just dropped one of these on my AR pistol with a 10.5″ barrel. Really liked the way the AR handles with this compensator. Even better that I can interchange it with other rifles without tools! Awesome piece!
