NOTE: This is for a Die-Only. These dies do not come with a shellholder. They are compatible with common shellholders from Redding, Hornady, RCBS, etc. They are also compatible with our ZERO Modular Shellholder System

Following the resounding success of our M-Series Sizing Die, the mission became to take as many of those industry-leading features as possible and push them into a traditional 7/8″ die, keeping the price point under $300.

We think we nailed it.

Introducing the ZERO S-Series Sizing Die

KEY FEATURES

  • Precision Ground Expander Mandrels (all dies ship with a .002 neck tension mandrel, or add more increments with our MANDREL KIT)

All dies ship with an Area 419 ZERO Universal Die Ring, a spare decapping pin and necessary install/removal tools.

After testing them all, and finding everything we like and didn’t like, and working with thousands of customers and a variety of industry partners, we believe this is what a 7/8″ sizing die should be. We think you’ll agree.

    Very Expensive but it is perfectly machined. No tooling marks or sharp edges. Easy to set up and adjust. The included tool is really nice. The packaging/storage box as a work of art in itself. Happy with it and would buy another size if I need one.

    Overall quality is excellent. Haven’t had a chance to actually use them. Still waiting on my 6GT build. That’s the only reason I did not rate them a 5. Am sure that based on the other products I have received from Area 419 that they will get a 5.

    I have a number of die set options but I constantly turn to those from Area 419. I’ve been using the M series for 6GT and 6.5CM for precision reloading. Added S series dies in 308 & 7PRC for hunting loads. A+

    I have experience with dies from hornady, Lee, ribs, Dillon and Redding and had settled on Redding as my favorite until I tried the s series die. It is genuinely in another class and a real pleasure to use. I liked it well enough that this is my second caliber die from area 419 and there will likely be a 3rd in the future. I can not yet prove an increase in accuracy but definitely they make sizing brass easier. Are they worth the extra money? It probably depends on how much you reload but I have so far voted yes with my wallet and will do so again in the future. Admittedly, I was skeptical when I purchased the first die but was extremely impressed once I tried them. Great job area 419!

    I wish I could give 10 stars on this one!! I’ve bought all different custom dies costing hundreds more than this and I am just blown away at the quality of not only the die itself, but the included wrenches and ESPECIALLY the beautiful storage box it came in!!! My package was delivered in torrential rain and left on my porch so I was worried it would be soaked when opening what was left of the cardboard box until I saw that there was NO CHANCE of that happening lol… To any other companies that happen to read this, please TAKE NOTES!!! This is how you take care of your customers!! Until then, I will be getting all my supplies here unless it’s not in your lineup. Thank you!!

    Very nice sizing die. I really like the ease of use with the neck sizing mandrel and shoulder bump in one stroke of the press. It works very well in my rock chucker press but looking forward to switching to the zero press soon.
