ZERO S-Series Sizing Dies

$275.00

Description

NOTE: This is for a Die-Only. These dies do not come with a shellholder. They are compatible with common shellholders from Redding, Hornady, RCBS, etc. They are also compatible with our ZERO Modular Shellholder System

Following the resounding success of our M-Series Sizing Die, the mission became to take as many of those industry-leading features as possible and push them into a traditional 7/8″ die, keeping the price point under $300.

We think we nailed it.

Introducing the ZERO S-Series Sizing Die

KEY FEATURES

  • Precision Ground Expander Mandrels (all dies ship with a .002 neck tension mandrel, or add more increments with our MANDREL KIT)
  • Full-Length Neck to Extractor Sizing
  • Spring Ejection for Spent Primers
  • Replaceable Steel Decap Pins
  • Reamer Cut to Exacting Dimensions for a TRUE Size (no more sticky bolt after the second firing)
  • Hydraulic Shoulder Pressure Relief
  • 100% Made in AMERICA

All dies ship with an Area 419 ZERO Universal Die Ring, a spare decapping pin and necessary install/removal tools.

After testing them all, and finding everything we like and didn’t like, and working with thousands of customers and a variety of industry partners, we believe this is what a 7/8″ sizing die should be. We think you’ll agree.

Works much better than the other die I was using. Actually sizes the whole case.

  3. Roy W. (verified owner) –

One of the few reloading tools that exceeded my expectations. Neck runout on my resized cases less than 0.0005”!

  4. mathew ruland (verified owner) –

Absolutely stunning. I just resized 100 brass and the runout was essentially zero and no variance in the neck tension over the entire batch!

    Makes life easier

  20. Jeff (verified owner) –

Very Expensive but it is perfectly machined. No tooling marks or sharp edges. Easy to set up and adjust. The included tool is really nice. The packaging/storage box as a work of art in itself. Happy with it and would buy another size if I need one.

  21. Phillip C. (verified owner) –

    Exceptional quality!!!

  22. Anonymous (verified owner) –

    Makes reloading easy and accurate.

  23. Gene (verified owner) –

EVERYTHING from Area 419 is so preciese and well made.

  24. Gerald J (verified owner) –

Overall quality is excellent. Haven’t had a chance to actually use them. Still waiting on my 6GT build. That’s the only reason I did not rate them a 5. Am sure that based on the other products I have received from Area 419 that they will get a 5.

  25. William M. (verified owner) –

I usually mandrel as a separate step, but the organic mandrel has produced the same neck tension, and shoulder bump adjustments went smoothly.

  26. Michael Bryant (verified owner) –

Best Reloading die I have ever owned

  27. Lee Goodman (verified owner) –

    Awesome product

  28. Mark K. (verified owner) –

I bought the 308 die first. Like it so much bought the 6.5 PRC die next. My next die will be the 6.5 Creedmoor. Best dies I’ve used.

  29. John C. (verified owner) –

I have a number of die set options but I constantly turn to those from Area 419. I’ve been using the M series for 6GT and 6.5CM for precision reloading. Added S series dies in 308 & 7PRC for hunting loads. A+

  30. Theodore D. (verified owner) –

I have experience with dies from hornady, Lee, ribs, Dillon and Redding and had settled on Redding as my favorite until I tried the s series die. It is genuinely in another class and a real pleasure to use. I liked it well enough that this is my second caliber die from area 419 and there will likely be a 3rd in the future. I can not yet prove an increase in accuracy but definitely they make sizing brass easier. Are they worth the extra money? It probably depends on how much you reload but I have so far voted yes with my wallet and will do so again in the future. Admittedly, I was skeptical when I purchased the first die but was extremely impressed once I tried them. Great job area 419!

I wish I could give 10 stars on this one!! I’ve bought all different custom dies costing hundreds more than this and I am just blown away at the quality of not only the die itself, but the included wrenches and ESPECIALLY the beautiful storage box it came in!!! My package was delivered in torrential rain and left on my porch so I was worried it would be soaked when opening what was left of the cardboard box until I saw that there was NO CHANCE of that happening lol… To any other companies that happen to read this, please TAKE NOTES!!! This is how you take care of your customers!! Until then, I will be getting all my supplies here unless it’s not in your lineup. Thank you!!

    Outstanding quality

  33. Sandy S. (verified owner) –

Perfect addition to my Zero press dies. I hope you will consider producing a 7mm magnum.

  34. Michael Pope (verified owner) –

These are by far the smoothest and most consistent dies I own. Together with the Zero press, I couldn’t be happier.

  35. Kevin S. (verified owner) –

It is a time saver for sure.

  36. Michael Jordan (verified owner) –

Works like it should, wondering how they missed the fitment in certain presses before launch.

  37. Nate (verified owner) –

Great price on a reamer made FL die. Great interior finish makes such a positive difference

  38. Dennis D. (verified owner) –

Very nice sizing die. I really like the ease of use with the neck sizing mandrel and shoulder bump in one stroke of the press. It works very well in my rock chucker press but looking forward to switching to the zero press soon.

  39. Sandy S. (verified owner) –

Haven’t used this new die yet but it is a beautiful piece of equipment. If it works as good as my M-Series die’s I’ll be very happy. Once I am able to get out to the shop and start using it I’ll update this.

  40. Tim (verified owner) –

Sizing is very precise and repeatable. It’s a must have.

  41. Anonymous (verified owner) –

Great looking product I haven’t used as of yet but when I do I will let ct all know

  42. Jonathan Chandler (verified owner) –

The best sizing die I have ever used hands down!
