ARCALOCK 12″ M-LOK Dovetail Rail
Original price was: $100.00.$80.00Current price is: $80.00.
** Rear angled barricade stop sold separately, available HERE **
** THIS RAIL REQUIRES 6 CONSECUTIVE MLOK SLOTS TO ATTACH. FOR STOCKS WITH FEWER MLOK SLOTS, YOU’LL WANT A 12″ UNIVERSAL RAIL WITH MLOK ATTACHMENT NUTS **
Area 419 is always looking for ways to improve existing products when we are not developing new technologies. With the rapid growth in popularity of ARCA rails in precision rifle, we saw a need to improve this great dovetail technology to something that could be mechanically locked in place instead of just friction. If you have ever tried using a Barricade stop on an existing ARCA rail, you’ve probably also seen it slide under much pressure.
Introducing the ARCALOCK Dovetail Rail System *Rail is only locking with an Area 419 clamp*
Rail Features:
– Serrated rail sides interface with our proprietary clamp design to mechanically lock it in place so no movement is possible. Serrations are not sharp, will not damage bags or your hands.
– Rail is backwards compatible with standard Arca accessories, but will not be locking without our clamp
– Rail is 12″ long giving you the entire length of the stock forend for attachments. The best part is, it still only weighs in at a paltry 4.1oz
– Made to the RRS 1.5″ Dovetail Standard, so you can be sure lever clamps will work
– No sharp edges. Every corner is radiused, and every edge is chamfered on the machine. This takes longer to make, but it is the only right way.
– Type 3 Hard Coat anodized for additional durability.
– Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum
– Made in-house here in the USA from USA sourced Aluminum on USA made CNCs
– M-LOK Slots on underside of rail also allow you to attach any M-LOK accessories to the 419 Rail
– Rail comes with all M-LOK mounting hardware

Fits my MDT XRS chassis perfectly. Great way to mount my Atlas bipod with ARCALOCK QD clamp. Part is machined very well. I program the machining of aerospace parts for a living. We go to great lengths to completely deburr our parts with machine. To insure we do not miss one edge do to human error. It is rare I see a part machined by someone else that takes the thoughtfulness of their machining to this level. Well Done team Area419!

Awesome product, fast delivery. I switched to the Arcalock from a picatinny and it was night & day. The MLOK slots allowed me to mount my forward grip directly to the rail and made the weight virtually unnoticeable. Attaching my tripod is much easier and much more stable. 10/10 product and they include stickers.

The ARCALOCK 12″ M-LOK Dovetail Rail is exactly what you expect from Area 419, precision machined, rock-solid, and zero flex. Fit and finish are flawless, and the integration with ARCA accessories locks up tight with no movement. Installation was straightforward and it adds real versatility without unnecessary weight. I added this to my .223 Wylde build running a SOLGW M89 upper and an LMT MARS lower, and it fits the setup perfectly. If you’re running a tripod or ARCA-based system, this is a no-brainer upgrade. Purchased for use on a KDG MREX20 Handguard for my Scar 20s. The KDG Handguard does not have exactly 7 MLOK Slots in line, as the disclaimer advises. However, where the mounting lugs and hardware slots are located, they fit the MREX20 handguard perfectly. Rail sits flush to the front of Handguard with the other end extending back towards the lower receiver. This gives plenty of playable space for bipods/tripods or other ARCA accessories. The MREX20 rail can be difficult to source a compatible ARCA rail, as for the final slot or two do not allow for mounting of any MLOK accessories. This is due to the SCAR20S barrel trunnion being very thick. Not allowing for standard MLOK hardware to mount in the slot properly. But! The Area 419 rail does give a good amount of extension to compensate for an issue, such as this one. Very pleased with this product! Quality is great from the material, to the weight and even finish. Would highly recommend for anyone else who may be on the fence and have a similar Handguard. Additionally, I would recommend this rail to anyone who is looking for a long and lightweight MLOK ARCA rail for their rifle.

jadickey1986 (verified owner) –
This product here is part of a 2-piece order I made and it’s now official. Area 419 is to be my standard for ARCA Rails wherever the application is needed or useful. If you run an MDT ESS with the 15” Forend, you can get this Dovetail but know that you’ll be better off ordering the Universal 10” or 12” ARCALOCK Dovetail instead. If you’re competent in Gunsmithing like I am by hobby and want a more solid mount-up to your MLOK Forend, this is the way to go but you’ll need to make two minor modifications to make it fit your Forend. If you’re running the MDT ESS Chassis with the 15” Forend, you’ll see what I mean. I’m about to buy another one of this product and clamp for my 6.5 Creedmoor that I’m nearing completion on. It also has the same MDT Chassis but color reversed. This one completes my Bergara B-14 R .22LR. I have a spare MDT LSS-XL Gen 2 Chassis that will also be getting one of these without any modifications needed. There’s a bottom line here that I must say. The quality of this product is the best there is regardless.

Quality from top to bottom. Even the packaging is premium. I am very happy with this rail. It installs very easily, and I can now utilize all the accessories I have for my precision rifle on my battle setup. I can also easily take it off depending on my needs. Very happy consumer here. Fits very well on my ADM UIC and feels secure. Haven’t had much use yet, but it seems durable and very secure. Nice thing is not having to crank hard on it to keep it in place as it’s not relying solely on friction.

Michael Grimes (verified owner) –
I purchased the 12” ARCALOCK rail for my Seekins HIT. Since the Hit Pro from Seemins wasn’t available I decided to purchase this rail to use in place and honestly it’s worked out perfectly. The fitment is great, really light, doesnt have any weird gaps on the chassis. I would recommend this for the Seekins HIT rifle. That being said, it would work in many other setups.
Daniel N. (verified owner) –
Good quality, fits well.
Brett (verified owner) –
The rail itself is fantastic. If its destination is a designated long range gun, absolute money. Run tripod or bipod where ever they need to be. My only issue with it is really my own hands. It went on an all-purpose work SPR that has to be able to work CQB as well as long distance. With my little baby hands, it’s hard to really control the rifle with the full rail. Going to wind up putting it on something else and make a hybrid setup with two smaller sections on each side of a foregrip for the work gun. So, big picture, just keep in mind intended purpose and ergonomics with what size to get.
Brandon Gibbs (verified owner) –
Fit great on my mdt chassis
Steven H. (verified owner) –
Great product and very functional.
Noah (verified owner) –
Fit and finish are great! Really enjoy it but would have appreciated a torque spec for the installation. I ended up rounding one of the provided m-lok screws while tightening it down. I wasn’t going gorilla tight but I backed it off for the rest of the screws.

Brandon K. (verified owner) –
As a LEO Sniper used to a hog saddle affixed to a tripod clamping to my Remington 700; using this rail directly clamped to the tripod and bolted to the MLOK rail on my AR10 is a night and day difference. Going from wobble and sway to a locked platform built my confidence in tripod shooting and increased our practical application. Unlike other rails this one is light as a feather and offers the ability to mount MLOK attachments without interference and even allows mounting of MLOK attachments along all 7 rail slots which I did not realize from the description and photos. I will be adding this rail to my other precision platforms in the near future.
Michael K. (verified owner) –
Solid mount, had to do some filing on my mlok accessories to make it fit with the rail, but overall it is a great product.
brian g. (verified owner) –
fit and finish is perfect. works perfect.
Charles Weiss (verified owner) –
Very well made and fitment was perfect!
Dave (verified owner) –
Area 419 12″ ARCALOCK Rail is excellent in design and execution. I am very pleased w the fit and finish. I much prefer the ARCA over the Picatinny. ARCA has been a standard in the world of photography for years. Wish A 419 would make a 10″ version of this rail.
Harrison Poole (verified owner) –
Great Product. Would like longer M-LOC versions.

David (verified owner) –
perfect fit for my rpr rimfire and centerfire will be getting another for my gas gun.
Brad Parmer (verified owner) –
I added the 12″ M-LOK Rail to my Bravo stock. This came out very nice. A little Dremel work to change the stock’s pivot stud hole to a M-Lok slot, and the fit was perfect. Note, I straddled the spacing between the stock’s slots with the rail’s alignment pads and screw holes. Not the original design intent, but it works great.
Jerald McCann (verified owner) –
Quality and fit is exceptional. Put on my HK MR7621A
Larry Littrell (verified owner) –
Fit perfectly on the RPRR. I’ve installed 6 now for friends
Keith M. (verified owner) –

I’ve been using this for the past 8 months on my Seekins SP-10 with the 15″ handguard. It fits perfectly and the machining and finish leave nothing to be desired. I run an Atlas bipod with the Area419 barricade stop and clamp on this rail and the solid lockup is great.

This 12″ Arcalock rail with m-lok mount locked up solid using 7 total slots on forend, barricade stops and accessories secure tightly with no worries of sliding when load is applied….great product Area 419.
Michael Muzzy (verified owner) –
Excellent fit and finish, I will be adding another to my collection. The notches(saw tooth) was a brilliant idea as I can adjust the attachments exactly where I need them without having to crank on a nob excessively. well worth the money compared to a non grooved rail .
RALPH WILLIAMSON (verified owner) –
Real quality. Want arca rails on all my rifles now.
Joshua L. (verified owner) –
Installed easily on my gas gun and made it more versatile.
John (verified owner) –
Received my ARCA Rail relatively quickly after ordering. Fit perfectly and securely onto my hand guard. Overall, I’m very pleased with it! Highly recommend Area 419 products for your precision rifles!
Sheldon (verified owner) –
Perfect for gas guns and super lightweight. Doesn’t interfere with a good grip unless you have baby hands
John K. (verified owner) –
Rock solid. Mounts with four M-Lok screws. I’m very satisfied. I forgot to pick up a fixed barricade stop to go with it when I made my first purchase, amd had to order that desperately, after the first package was delivered. These guys ship fast, so I had it within three or four days.
James G. (verified owner) –

Always excellent stuff
Richard (verified owner) –
I am very impressed with the precision machining and tolerances. This rail attached to M-Lok on my rifle precisely. All of the edges are chamfered which is important when holding the rifle by the rail. This adds functionality to a standard rail that 1913 rail can’t match.
Derick C. (verified owner) –
Fit perfect on my Ruger precision
Brent Miller (verified owner) –
Love this product and this company
Bryan McCravy (verified owner) –
Fit and finish was top notch.
GREGORY S. (verified owner) –
My main shooting discipline is 3 Gun. I moved into open class 2 years ago and a buddy recommended I move to Arca swiss interface for my rifle. I picked up an AREA 419 Arcalock rail and absolutely love it. Switching from bag to bipod or tripod is superfast. Disengaging and dropping an item on the move is 4x faster than dropping from a 1919-pic rail. With the locking feature, bipods don’t loosen or slide like on some other Arca swiss rails. I now have Arcalock rails on 5 different rifles.
Michael Newton (verified owner) –
In my opinion Area 419 makes the best arca rails available.

I have this item. It works perfectly and I knew it would as in I have 2 others of the regular kind. Mounted with no problems.
