Description
– Developed for use on our flat ARCALOCK rails such as the 12″ Universal, M-LOK, Keymod, and MPA that do not have a built in stop
– Slides on from the end of the rail, does not clamp “over” and can be locked in any position on the rail
– 1-1/8″ tall from bottom of rail
– Grooved to aid in gripping the barricade
– Uses a pinch clamp design and also a set screw to engage one of the ARCALOCK cuts to guarantee no slippage
– 3/32 Wrench included and required to move clamp, not designed to be a moveable stop.
– Machined from 6061-T6 Aluminum in house
– Type III Black Hardcoat Anodized

I like function of this on the rail without the buit in one. The adjust ment screws are the reason I took off a star they are a little odd and backed off twice on me at matches, but they didn’t cause the stop to move out of position just start rattling around until tightened.

I finally got it on. After filing about 1/8″ off the clamp, and cleaning up the grove and beating the crap out if it, it is on my rifle. Once on its awesome it was just a pain in the rear to put it on. The rail I am using isn’t an Area 419 but everything else has fit with out an issue. With that being said, it solid and works great.

Has more to do with the action screw provided. Socket Head to tall for rail to allow barricade stop to move once rail has been installed. To move stop, need to remove action screw to do so.

This part will fit any RRS-Spec ARCA rail – the MPA forends however have “closed” ends to their rails so there is no way to get it onto the chassis.

This past weekend I finally ran the barricade block along with my harris bipod with the barricade clamp attachment at a match. I have the 12-inch universal 419 arca rail on the bottom of my rifle.
Does it work? Yes, absolutely. Unfortunately I only had 1 stage with a standard PRS barricade. On this stage, I had to engage a target at 450 yards from 4 different positions on the barricade for a total of 8 shots. The positive is that once the system is properly deployed it was effortless to hit the target. Follow up shots were extremely easy – the rifle didn’t move… I was literally still on the 2 MOA plate after recoil.
The negative is that the system is somewhat tough to deploy on the clock to fit the barricade perfectly. Now, this was my first match using the barricade clamp & block so I recognize that my ability to deploy will improve as I practice. Better than a game changer? Yes – stability is excellent if you can deploy quickly but as of right now I’m still faster with the gamechanger due to practice.
