Area 419 is always looking for ways to improve existing products when we are not developing new technologies. With the rapid growth in popularity of ARCA rails in precision rifle, we saw a need to improve this great dovetail technology to something that could be mechanically locked in place instead of just friction. If you have ever tried using a Barricade stop on an existing ARCA rail, you’ve probably also seen it slide under much pressure.
Introducing the ARCALOCK Dovetail Rail System *Rail is only locking with an Area 419 clamp*
Rail Features:
– Serrated rail sides interface with our proprietary clamp design to mechanically lock it in place so no movement is possible. Serrations are not sharp, will not damage bags or your hands.
– Rail is backwards compatible with standard Arca accessories, but will not be locking without our clamp
– Rail is specifically built to run the full length of a new Barrett MRAD forend, stopping right at the end of the handguard.
– Made to the RRS 1.5″ Dovetail Standard, so you can be sure lever clamps will work
– No sharp edges. Every corner is radiused, and every edge is chamfered on the machine. This takes longer to make, but it is the only right way.
– Designed to attach to the rifle up to 4 places for maximum strength and stability.
– Type 3 Hard Coat anodized in FDE for additional durability
– Includes MLOK Mounting Hardware
– Made from 6061-T6 Aluminum
– Made in-house here in the USA from USA sourced Aluminum

I bought one for my Mrad and its a perfect fit. whoever is running the CNC machine at area 419 needs an ATA BOY! (I do wish it came in black, its a little too pimp for my black rifle) LOL!

I bought one and love it for my MRAD, just wish it offered the weight system you have and also perhaps in black or sniper gray as well. I recently acquired a Barrett Mradelr and would love to see the same for it.
Also you might want to offer a Arca clamped bag sled for f class and bench rest shooters that meets their requirements.

I have an MRAD and this did not fit, it would not lay flat. I would give it a 1, However it does fit my MDT stock – so it found a home. and gave it 3. Now if I purchased it for the MDT stock only – it would get a 5.
