Description
At Area 419 we decided that there were no scope bases on the market that really met our requirements for quality, so we made our own. Its all in the little details that set this base apart from the competition. These are machined in house on our 4-axis HAAS VMC from 7075 Aluminum. Straight off the mill there is not a single sharp edge left, all corners are radiused and any necessary harsh corners are chamfered. Just like all of the other Picatinny products we make, we radius between the slots, and also radius the corners of the lugs to prevent any snag areas and give it a cleaner look.
- As with our 700 rails, all screws are T10 Torx and the same length so no guessing which goes where
- The MOA angle of the base is guaranteed to be true to the spec due to advanced fixturing
- Machined to MIL-STD-1913
- Type III Hardcoat Black anodized
- Comes with a T10 Torx key
- Screw Torque = 15in/lb

Nice rail, excellent workmanship, bought the 30 MOA version wish I would have known I cannot zero gun with 30 MOA rail at 50 yards. Mounted Leupold Mark 5HD 5-25X56 and with it dialed all the way down I am still 22 MOA high at 50 yards, 15 MOA high at 100 yards, BUT its 2 MOA low at 200 yards. so if you are only shooting 200 + yards its great. Would have left it on but got the PR 2 MOA reticle and there is not upper crosshair so ended up ordering a different rail from somewhere else with zero cant so that I can get a 50 yard zero.

Perfect fit! , feels light, one of the screw’s head stripped while installing using 13 in/lbs, be careful when installing. Please add some instructions on how to install it for those that have never installed one. Very easy for me but not for those that have never installed one.

I liked it so much I had to buy 2! LoL, more like I didn’t calculate how much elevation my scope actually had! 30moa was a bit too much for my tacticool 30mm scope! I’ll keep it, in the case I decide to add the heavy 34mm tube I’ve got on it! The 15moa base I also ordered should be much better suited for the 30mm tube! Oh, and anything Area419 makes is superior in fit and finish.

Great piece of kit. Fits really well and sits low. I am using on a 17HMR T1x so 15MOA was more than adequate. Still had some elevation travel down. VX2 3-9 EFR in low PRW2 rings. One note: the rail is extended forward, so with low rings there is a limit to how far the scope can move rearward. With just a little space between the scope bell and the mount, eye relief was good for me.

Great 30 MOA optics rail for my T1X. I love the detal with the recessed area on the bottom to help keep the mount more secure. Might not be necessary on a 22 for the recoil but I’m glad it’s there. I definitely will be purchasing other Area 419 rails like this for bigger calibers.

I went with a 30 moa rail paired with my vortex pst gen 2 and I am able to achieve a 25 or 50 yard zero.

I spent more time on this rail choice than I probably needed too and believe I have seen every online rail for my T1X, but settled on the 419 30 MOA rail based on Jeff Post’s review and the engineering : “Straight off the mill there is not a single sharp edge left, all corners are radiused and any necessary harsh corners are chamfered. ” Received it as expected – a high quality rail – great finish – and has been on my rifle now for a couple months and easily pokes out to 200 yds – the limit of the local ranges. The moderate extra length of this rail is perfect.

Came with everything needed to mount except loctite. Went on easy and fits well. Mounted scope and was near dead center on windage when zeroing. Moved scope forward one notch, essentially the center of the rail, and low and behold I’m dead center on the windage at 12.3 Mils either direction. Certainly speaks to the quality of fit of the rail. Oh, and get the 30 MOA.
