BLEM – MATCH Scope Rings
Original price was: $220.00.$180.00Current price is: $180.00.
THESE ITEMS HAVE MINOR COSMETIC BLEMISHES, BUT ARE 100% FUNCTIONAL. MANY BLEMS ARE PART OF ENGRAVING OR ANODIZE AND MAY NOT EVEN BE EASILY NOTICED.
When we set out to make an ideal scope ring, the things we knew we needed to accomplish, and do to a degree you won’t find anywhere else on the market, is to produce a reliable, and true capture of the optic. This led us down a rabbit-hole, ultimately arriving on a process that gets you serialized, final-bore matched rings, with raw aluminum internals, for a grip on your optic that is more reliable and more true than anything else made.
Like most rings, these begin as separate parts. We are making the bases and caps in batches. While many will make these parts, send them to anodize, and then just assemble, we produce around the extra steps. Once these parts return from anodize, they are fully assembled, placed back into specially produced rail fixtures, with the caps torqued to spec over specially made spacers (to give the rings space to torque down on the optic), and final-bored as sets in our world-class machining centers. Rings are then brought off the machine in sets, and placed into the laser to mark them as sets, with each set being uniquely identified as a match to its precision-bored counterparts.
Is it overkill? Probably. But we think it’s the right way. So that’s what we are going to do.

3rd set of this style ring. Super great on my hunting rifles. Scope never losses zero.

This is my 2nd set of these rings. I liked the fit/finish/alignment pin securement/torque specs clearly identified/ same size torx driver for ring to base as ring to scope screws/the dehorned or radiused edges. After the bottom 1/2 of each ring was install on the pic rail, I laid my 34mm scope in the rings. The scope slid forward and aft smoothly with no binding. Evidence of great alignment.

I could not find any blemishes so thanks for the discount. These area 419 rings are the most perfectly manufactured and Titus tolerance that I’ve ever seen. The tolerances are toe tight when you place the scope in the rings it literally is hard to move it because it is making 100% contact with the scope tube as opposed to cheaper less precisely manufactured rings that has a lot of non-contact service, which makes it easier to slide. The reason you do not want this is because when your rings are not very grippy, you make up for that by tightening them too much and 80% of scope manufacturer warranty work is from exactly that problem with a precisely manufactured ring. You don’t need very much torque to hold the scope in place which means you’re expensive optics are not going to be damaged.

I feel like I received a high-quality product at a very good price due to a very minor cosmetic blemish. It would have been a good deal at full price.

The scope rings were in excellent condition despite the blemishes condition. No issues with fitment or anytime not aligning correctly.

If you know anything about tolerance stacking then you will absolutely appreciate these rings. When you are shooting out at 1200 yards little things like this make a big difference. These scope rings are paired and final machined which is where the tolerance stack up comes into play. I looked at a lot of scope rings and these Area 419 rings are the only ones that offer this level of accuracy. These will be paired with a Nightforce scope and the way that they mount to the rail via three points and the final machine will make any excuse for not hitting the target the shooters fault, not the scope. 😀
