The Area 419 Hellfire barreled action is a no compromises solution for your long range or competition rifle.  Using only the best components available, the Hellfire will provide worry free functioning and guaranteed 1/2 MOA or better accuracy.  Most customers are easily able to find 1/4 MOA with handloads in an appropriate stock/chassis system.

Melonite comes standard on our Hellfire barreled action.  We feel it provides the absolute best feel and corrosion protection for the bolt.  Area 419 does not believe in applying Cerakote to a Defiance bolt or contact surfaces inside the action.  We can certainly build a bare stainless barreled action, and the cost will be reduced accordingly.

  – Manufactured for Area 419 by Defiance Machine to exacting tolerances.
  – Heavy tang
  – Standard spiral fluting
  – Defiance primary extraction
  – Integral 20 or 30 MOA scope rail
  – Integral recoil lug
  – One piece bolt using the excellent mini M16 extractor
  – Remington style swept bolt handle to drop into 700 inlet stocks (side bolt release will need inletting)
  – Extended “Defiance” length ejection port for ejecting some longer live rounds
  – Blind side bolt stop pin and blind rear guard screw hole
  – Area 419 Bolt knob
• Qualtiy hand lapped cut rifled barrel from Bartlein, Hawk Hill, Krieger, or Brux, certified 416R-SS

• Hellfire barreled actions are built to order, typical build time is 2 weeks if parts are on hand, 1-3 months if we need to special order your Hellfire action

• Some chamberings not listed are available, others may cause additional lead time if a reamer needs to be ordered.  Area 419 will not charge extra for most reamers that we do not have, although some wildcats may incur an additional charge on a case by case basis.
