For all those looking for the lightest, smallest ARCALOCK rail on the market – here ya go. Weighing in at just 1.5oz, this will fir forend hole spacings of 2″-3.5″, just like our extremely popular IBR. The rail will also come with t-nuts and hardware to allow you to install the rail closer to the magwell for tripod use.

These rails are made of 6061 billet aluminum and will be sold only in a black hardcoat anodized finish.

Pretty good with a few faults.
The channel should have been milled slightly wider to accept the diameter of a swivel stud and gun screws. Obviously, the swivel stud will block any attachment wanting to slide along the rail, but it would be nice to use a swivel stud at the end of the rail for a sling (instead of ordering some other needlessly expensive attachment to attach to the rail for your sling).
These are annoying issues for an expensive block of aluminum.
The bolts that come with the rail seem proprietary. For starters, they are way too long. You are expected to grind them down, I guess. And since the channel isn’t wide enough for a standard gun screw head, you’re otherwise searching hardware stores for an appropriate length bolt with the appropriate sized head (both in width to fit the channel and in height so the bolt head is not protruding from the channel).

Bought for my Bergara to attach to my tripod/ball-head. For anyone mounting with drill and tap instead of the T-nuts…I recommend a M5 x 0.8 tap. Since the screws didn’t quite fit in the hole using the 10-32 tap.

The 4.25″ rail is the right length to replace my two swivel studs so I can run a bipod with an arca attachment. Install was very easy on my Grayboe stock – just remove the swivel studs and use the included 10-32 screws to attach the rail.
