NEW at Area 419 – a billet adjustable base for the popular Auto Trickler powder trickler. This item replaces the 3D printed base that comes with the Auto Trickler unit.
We have recently updated this item to add a thumb-wheel for pitch adjustment and have redesigned it to add about 14% more weight for added stability.
This base is precision CNC machined in house from a solid bar of 6061 aluminum providing extra weight (1.4 lb) to hold the Auto Trickler in use. It also comes with an externally adjustable leg to give you control over height and tilt of the unit.
Auto Trickler unit NOT INCLUDED, replacement base only. THIS ITEM WILL WORK ON THE V2 AND V3 MODELS.

Having used the V3 auto trickler for a couple of years now with the lightweight 3D printed trickler base this billet aluminum version from Area 419 is an absolute necessity. It dampens the vibration transmitted to the base from the stepper motor and helps it do it’s job.

Great comment. Stout and strong. Make sure you have a set of really long really small Allen keys. Would be cool if one came with the product.

Top screws we very difficult to remove. You should have supplied a long Alan wrench that would have been able to reach though the othere side like the screwdriver shown in you video on the previous upgrade.

Better then I ever imagined. Looked at this for a year, couldn’t bring myself to spend the money. My birthday came around and I was getting bugged for present idea’s and I asked for this base. So happy I did, way better then I imagined, drops more consistently, doesn’t vibrate around the table, and made it quiet! Wish I bought it a year ago.

Overall great piece of equipment. I’m wondering there’s some obvious machining scratches that kind of detract from other areas of the base that’re perfectly shiny. Would aluminum polish help remove those? I know that’s probably picky…

Just received base, it is very solid and love the weight. Instructions would be nice, it’s not rocket science but took a minute to look at disassembly of unit. The screws from the auto trickler that holds on the cup of where the powder is stored were too short to fit in this base. I have to now go to a store and buy larger screws. I am not sure if they changed to smaller screws or this base was not drilled deep enough. If didn’t have to go get screws would definitely rate this 5 stars

Sorry about that Chad, a small change to the machining code left us just on the wrong side of screw length. It’s no excuse, just reality. I hope you got it all up and running, and the product works well for you for a very long time!

Excellent base for the ATV2. Quiet, firm and easy to setup.. Be aware of the back height screw and clearance under the flywheel…

Dennis, thanks for the review! It was actually designed so that the pulley would be close enough to the base that the rear screw can pass right by it. You only need a few thousandths clearance for the pulley.

Great Upgrade for the Auto Trickler V2. Being able to level the trickler with the adjustable feet helps increase the precision. Also runs noticeably quieter in the heavy base.
